Iman Calls For Action

Iman Calls For Action

From the moment the Qur'an was revealed to Muhammad (saw) he started to call to the way of Allah (swt), people started to come to him, to listen, and become his companions. They believed in the 'Aqeedah of Islam, their belief (Iman) was strong and pure and it was this belief that changed them to become the best of mankind, with the best in thought, knowledge and continuous action. Armed with their belief they started to struggle with Jahiliyyah (ignorance), it was an intellectual and political struggle. Though they were only few in number, they were strong, solid, and uncompromising, until Allah (swt) gave them victory and the State was established in Medinah. At that time they turned to new actions, they added to the political and intellectual struggle a military struggle with the Kafir, by declaring Jihad and starting to fight and spread Islam. Whole countries were opened to Islam until most of the Earth came under Islamic authority.

That is how they understood Islam and how they implemented it in their lives. They took Iman properly and understood that Iman called them for action, they worked in two stages and succeeded. It was narrated that whenever an Ayah came, the Sahabah took it, understood it, and implemented it, then other Ayahs would come and would be implemented without delay. Their way of life (Deen) was based solely upon their belief and they were truthful in holding firm to both of them, and did not neglect any of the commands, which they implemented in their entirety. They deserved the blessing of Allah, and Allah said:

''Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased from Him''. [ 9:100]

Iman was not only in their hearts, and they did not show it only by worshipping and remembering Allah, or through their moral behaviour. Theirs was much more than that, they were an uncompromising force with great energy, strength and determination in the face of Kufr. Yes, that is way the Sahabah learnt from Muhammad (saw), revived themselves and acted with vigour in their Da#65533;awah to establish a State which lasted for several centuries. They referred to the Qur#65533;an and always connected their action with their belief. Allah said ''Those who believe and do good action will find paradise'', and ''Verily man is at a loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds'', and ''Say work, Allah will see you work with Muhammad and the believers''.

The Sahabah were moved to action. They listened to the Prophet who requested them to act and stimulated them highly in the way of Allah (swt).

What is work? The highest and best is the work in the way of Allah; and of this work is the work to revive the Ummah , establish the State of Islam, carry the Da'awah, and to enter the political and intellectual struggle against Kufr, like Muhammad (saw) worked before the establishment of the State, work against the Kafir oppressors, struggling against their own plans, demolishing their schemes and never accepting their regimes, and establishing the Khilafah and unifying muslim countries again under the flag of Islam.

But of the worst are those who understand Iman to be sitting down, in laziness and leaving the situation to be as it is, even running away and giving very weak reasons for not working in the way of Allah (swt). Saying, ''What can we do? We are weak and the oppressors have full control''. Or saying, ''We don't want to create Fitnah (division)'', and want to save themselves from Fitnah by running away. What is even worse is understanding that Iman means working to gain money to provide provisions for children and for poor people, and to establish houses and farms through trading and industry without involving themselves in political activity.

These two types of people are those who have left man to be ruled by Kufr and indirectly help Muslims to be led by puppets of the West. They do not believe as they should and do not understand what their Iman requests them to do.

Allah(swt) strongly emphasises the rewards of people with Iman and taqwa in this life and the Hereafter. It is these muttaqeen that Allah(swt) grants assistance, victory and provides for. Thus, understanding the concept of taqwa is vital and madatory for every Muslim.

Unfortunately, this is the very concept which the Muslims have left behind, as a result of faulty education. The disbelievers in the distant past, as well as in present times, have understood the importance of taqwa and the Islamic creed, and how it could jeopardise their interests. They realised how taqwa and the Islamic creed (aqeedah) were the roots of power to Muslim. Thus they began to warp and dilute it by adding Greek, Persian and Hindu ideas and philosophies to it. Eventually the Muslims began to incorporate the false ideas of the body and soul, and their inter-relationships into the original, pristine Islamic concept of taqwa.

As a result, Muslims started portraying a person possessing taqwa as a soft spoken elevated, calm, pious, spiritual person, adorned with a certain type of holy attire. A picture of a person who over emphasises prayer, fastinig and things such as donating to the masjid, while living a secluded and isolated life would be the one with taqwa , even though the same perosn would deal with usury, lie and sell alcohol. They began manufacturing their own verson of taqwa and fed this false sentiment into the Ummah.

In contrast to this distorted picture the Quran and Sunnah defines the idea of taqwa as protecting oneself from the Hellfire by following the orders of Allah(swt) by doing what He(swt) has commanded and avoiding what He(swt) has forbidden. Many ayat in the Quran point up these ideas.

Yes, Islam requests you to believe in Allah, His messengers, His books, the Angels, the Last Day, Divine Fate and Destiny. But more than this, your actions are a duty which you are required to observe, actions like working to gain provision, Salat, work to revive the Ummah and establishing the Khilafah, and working to change the situation by attacking falsehood. These are all actions your Iman is crying out for you to fulfil, we are obliged to do them all.

Muhammad (saw) said: ''Implementing one of Islam's penal codes (law) on the Earth is much better than having rain for 40 years'', and ''Whosoever dies while there was no bay'ah (allegiance to a Khaleefah) on his neck dies a death of the days of ignorance (Jahiliyyah)'', and ''By Allah, enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and seize the hands of the wrongdoer, and incline him to the truth, and confine him to the truth, or Allah will strike your hearts, one of them upon another, and then will He curse you like He cursed them (the Children of Israel)''.

O Muslims! The Sahabah took Iman as they should and connected it with their every action, thereby gaining the victory from Allah (swt). Today the Muslims leave the work and action, especially the highest - the best work - and they accept the weak Iman, and have failed and have been totally humiliated.

O Muslims! This Ummah is the best Ummah and this Ummah is the owner of the best thought in the world. It is the Ummah of the best civilisation, which agrees with human nature, with a very unique history, the Ummah that publicised goodness and justice and truth on Earth till all peoples were happy, even the people of the Book were pleased, to the extent that they helped Muslims against their enemies.

Today the time has come to trace the steps of the Sahabah and start to do the actions - the highest actions - to revive and change the situation and not to be silent at this great Munkar (evil). O Muslims! Before Islam, the Earth was in darkness, the Persian and Roman empires had occupied the Earth, spreading great corruption and evil, until Islam came. Islam came and corrected man's condition, destroying these States and implementing justice by the Khilafah. Today we see the Earth once again dominated by corruption with the States of Capitalism in control. Kufr, evil, and corruption are widespread causing destruction and death; the fight for exploitation through Colonisation, and usurious control has taken over our lands. Mankind is misguided and is aimless. The corruption of Communism has removed it from the face of the earth, the corruption of Capitalism has started to appear, but the entire world is bathed in this despair.

So Islam must now come back again to uproot all this corruption and to repair and save man. There is no way this can happen except with the Khilafah re-established, to destroy the States of Kufr and corruption, and to erase all signs of the corrupt leaders, allowing Islam to once again be the light for misguided peoples. The return of Islam is so close, because the Ummah has no thoughts or ideas of any value except Islam and the weakness of the governments in the Muslim lands and their betrayal can be smelt everywhere.

There is nothing left except action, and the last steps back to the way of Allah (swt) to uproot the corruption and disclose all that is hiden behind. O Ummah! WORK, MOVE, INITIATE YOUR ATTACK ON KUFR. And Allah (swt) has promised:

''O you who believe ! If you aid the cause of Allah, He will aid you'' [Quran 47:7]

Your Iman requests you to implement the Deen of Islam and connect your belief to action. So come on with your actions, especially the highest ones, remove the puppet leaders and may Allah give us the victory.
